Big Bang’s GDragon recently held a concert for his fans at the same time to celebrate the success of his solo activity without the members. Much like other issues related with GDragon, this concert had raised a series of controversies that the netizens are divided on.

5-member group Big Bang will return to the stage in January 2010 with a new concert.
On December 6th at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium, G-Dragon was hosting his first solo concert “Shine A Light” and a surprise appearance happened on stage when all of Big Bang came out for the last encore.
They performed “Lies” and “Last Farewell” making the atmosphere joyous and exciting for the fans. Seungri then hinted news about the concert when he said “Sooner or later I have a Big Bang concert to attend”, which G-Dragon then confirmed and a bulletin was left confirming it by YG officials.
A Big Bang official said “Big Bang plans to hold a concert in January 2010 named “Big Show“. We also plan to have this annual concert every year on January.” In addition the official said “Big Bang’s new album will also be released next year.”
Big Bang who is currently doing individual promotions will get together as one for a concert next year. G-Dragon and Taeyang are both busy with their solo careers, Daesung is busy with variety show ‘Family Outing’ and Seungri with musicals. While TOP is getting a hot response from the public for his charismatic acting in hit-drama “Iris”.

PA Says: To bad Bae wasn’t on take 7 this week. Sad how “Wedding Dress” isn’t that popular in Korea but out of Korea it’s super popular. I guess they don’t like RnB that much. Also seems like the ‘Go YoungBae’ chants went down too. It’s not as loud as it use to be. Oh well Bae did a great job like always. Proud of him.

In 2008, the music shows “Show! Music Core”, “Music Bank” and “Inkigayo” had average ratings of 3~4%, which increased to 5.7%, 5.7% and 7.1% respectively in 2009.
So who was it that was performing during the highest rated minute?
According to an AGB Nielson Media Research report, the highest rated episode of a music show this year went to Inkigayo on August 30th. Inkigayo had an 11.7% average rating that day.
And the singer who performed during the highest rated minute on this day? Big Bang’s leader, G-Dragon.
The second GD got up on stage, ratings got up to 16.2%! (the average is usually 3~4%!)
G-Dragon performed his title track ‘Heartbreaker’ and ‘Breathe’ and made a successful solo debut. He also swept first place in various online and offline music charts as well as major music shows.
