[Message] YG leaves messages about G-Dragon & TaeYang

G-Dragon’s solo concert is set for the 5th and 6th of December at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastic Stadium and he will not be performing on TV shows until that time.

“G-Dragon” is also preparing for a surprise event in December.
The job is a big one and we can only give innocent hints like, we must be ready for 20,000.

Mr. Yang Hyun Suk (mrYG), CEO of YG Entertainment just released a statement on YGE’s official website talking about, among other things, Tae Yang’s upcoming solo comeback. Here is a quick summary of what he said:

“Wedding Dress” will be released on November 13th as a digital single along with a music video. (At 11am Korean Time)

Unlike, “Where U At,” he will be promoting this songs through radio shows and TV broadcasts.

mrYG said he understands the fan’s frustrations regarding the lack of the company’s promotional efforts and “whines about how difficult it is to promote in this fast changing environment. We speculate he’s referring to the problems he had with several broadcasting companies such as MBC/KBS during G-Dragon’s activities. We predict as a consequence, Tae Yang will probably appear on SBS and Mnet shows only.

It was Tae Yang’s idea to release two digital singles before dropping the full album, probably in order to extend the length of his promotional period.
He mentioned that they are trying out a new promotional strategy and will promote as long as needed.

Shaun Evaristo and Lyle Beniga went to Korea a few weeks ago, not only to perform with Tae Yang, but to choreograph for “Wedding Dress” and the MV.

There was no mention of the actual album besides that “Where U At” is the first track and “Wedding Dress” is not the title track, which means Tae Yang will be promoting another song once the album is released.

And mrYG ends with:  “Goodbye everyone…With a bow ~ (Youngbae Fi! igh! ting!)”

According to TOP, they’re like a family, so they always eat out or go shopping together. They also know each other’s fashion sense, so if one of them is shopping alone and he see’s something that another member would love to wear, he’ll call him up to let him know.

TOP and Lee Byung-hun have a big bro/little bro relationship, so they often work out together. Lee Byung-hun also gives him acting advice.
Taeyang is a Beyonce and Michael Jackson fan. Everyone except for TOP went to her concert in Korea. He often listens to his ipod and has songs by both artists on it. His favorite MJ songs are “Human Nature” and “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You”. He’ll often sing these songs out loud in his car. Before he goes to sleep, he’ll listen to some of MJ’s slower songs to relax.

GD likes the Japanese movie “Ima Ai ni Ikimasu.” [GREAT movie btw.]
Taeyang likes the movie Spirited Away (it made him cry when he watched it in middle school).

At the end of the article, the reporter asked the guys what surprised them when they first arrived in Japan. When Daesung first visited Japan, he was surprised that the Japanese drive on the other side of the road and that their steering wheels are on the other side of their cars too. He got his driver’s license in March, but still doesn’t have a car yet.

GD mentioned that he was surprised by how beautiful Japanese women were ^^ He told the reporter that he was going to start studying Japanese right away! [lol] Dae then said that GD had been looking through a Japanese magazine that day and had been captivated by what he saw ♥ In response, GD stated he was going to marry a Japanese woman. Taeyang then reminds everyone how GD just decided he was going to do this today [haha]. Rather than falling in love w/someone on first sight, he’s [Taeyang] more interested in spending time with them and getting to know them first. TOP got the final word and said that he often falls for girls on first sight, and that he’d like both a Korean wife AND a Japanese wife. [News] Psy, “GDragon is one good idol model”

Singer Psy praises Big Bang member GDragon amidst criticisms of plagiarism.

Psy said in an interview recently on 9th November, “GDragon is one good idol model.”

When asked about which junior singers caught his eyes, the singer songwriter said, “In terms of capabilities, it has to be Big Bang. Especially for JiYoung, who seems like he is doing good. For idols who make music and just idols, you can see how different they will be in 10 years. Personally I think that the principals will be the same after 10 years. So with that, I think a kid like Kwon JiYoung is a really good idol model.”

And regarding the criticisms of plagiarisms for the ‘Butterfly’ and ‘Heartbreaker’ released previously in August, Psy said, “I agree with the people who listened to that portion ofthe song. But I thought through this, (he) will get to learn and develop more.”

He continued, “Not just meant to be put up as a show, I really look forward to see what GDragon will offer for his next works after this.”

Meanwhile, Psy will be performing with Kim JangHoon for their concert ‘Kim JangHoon, Psy’s Wantachi Concert Tour’ which will take place from 20th November.

[News] TOP is #1 For Special Event Lover Poll

Idol group Big Bang member TOP has been chosen as the #1 entertainer who looks like he is good at doing events for his lover.

According to a survey done on Monkey3 from 23rd October to 30th October, and in commemoration of Pepero Day (11th November), and the question ‘Celebrities who looks like he/she is good at doing special events for their lovers’ was asked and 1363 netizens polled. Big Bang TOP came in first in the poll with 23% of the votes.
